In 2010 I had to make a big decision for myself for 2011.
You know a lot what happens in life is in your own hands in my eyes. I mean in sort of way you decide how your future looks like sometimes. I figured out that I would like to go to Dublin and wanted to see Boyzone and more then once. The city looked back then great and beautiful had never been there before. Then Boyzone announced to do a tour in honour of Stephen. In March they performed in Dublin. The date was on 15 March for me a sad day its the day I lost my dad 9 years ago. I know life goes on bla bla but its a day you never forget. When you lost a parent I think you know what I mean. To be away from home on that day, to be overseas felt strange to do that. Then I thought you never forget a day because its the saddest day ever, why dont try to combinated it with what makes you sing, dance, sparkle and give your eye some hot Irish men and makes you feel happy. When I look back in the future (like next year) I think also of something great. I did it booked flight, hotel and concert ticket wooohooo!!!!
I did sometimes struggle that day and yes to hear the song "one more song" hits a bit but over the whole day it was great! I really enjoyed that day. Did a candle in the church, did a red roses at Dalkey.
That whole day was fine and the evening..........amazing!! I also found out that week my love for Ireland. Ow YES I love it!! I know some people dislike my love for Boyzone. This is just 1 tiny part of what they changed me in a good way. Also it are people that dont know anything about it.´Because my real friends see how it changed me in positive way and they never bothered they know me. Also they are happy to see me happy. Boyzone changed my future and past.
Now looking back on the saddest day of the year I can also look back on a great happy day in Dublin. Happy and in balance.
